First Sign

I saw the first yard sign of the fall campaign season, for Al Ames, candidate for Ada County Comissioner. Here's his web site. On his What Would Al Do page, he says he wants to restructure county government, get rid of the Ada County Highway District, limit urban sprawl, and promote recycling. He wants seven part-time commissioners insteadof three full time ones.

Give the guy credit, he's got an agenda and he's putting it out there. His website is pretty good as well.

I looked all over his website and can find no hint of his political leanings, i.e., Red or Blue, which is good for the non-partisan county commission.

Interestingly, he has a different hit counter on every page.
