Boise Representative Branden Durst (D- 18) is blogging from the legislature, and I've added a link to him under the Idaho Blue links. His blog might be a good opportunity to for the blue Idaho blogosphere to have some input into legislative action. Hat tip to Adam Graham for noting the new blog.
If you have not checked out the Mountain Goat Report, you ought to. The guy is doing great work and is putting up very thoughtful and informative posts. His post on the coyote killing derby and the potential effect on varmint population is typical of his research and analysis. Reality based, no hasty generalizations, good links, and thoughtful. And he's just getting started. I'm sure there's lots more good stuff to come.

I may be mis-remembering something from an early post, but it was my understanding/impression that Mountain Goat is female.

Could be. I don't know for sure. The tone of the blog just seems male to me, talking about being in the Marines, going hunting, wearing a ghillie suit, etc. Also, I saw an email from M. Goat and seem to recaall a male name on it.
