As If Flying Isn't Miserable Enough

I hate to fly these days. The pointless security hassles make me crazy. Getting to the airport a couple of hours early, which you have to do because sometimes the strip search line is so backed up it takes an hour to get through it. If you do end up waiting for very long, you get to sit in airport chairs.

These are clearly designed to be uncomfortable. I guess they don't want you falling asleep and missing your plane. If you get delayed for whatever reason and have some time to nap, it is almost impossible to catch a few zzzzzs. The backs are too low to lean back and snooze. The arm rests and the contour of the seats prevent you from stretching out.

I'd prefer less paternalism and more comfort.
