Sali's Supporters

Bill Sali has a list of endorsements on his web site. Let's have a look at one of them, Idaho Chooses Life, because it is instructive of Sali's beliefs and values. After all, Sali is proudly announcing the endorsement of this group.

On a page entitled Idaho Democrats Declare War On Idaho Values, the site states

Even before the campaigns begin, the [Democratic] Platform reaffirms their support for abortion-on-demand.

Sorry, but that is just a lie. What the Idaho Democratic Platform says is

We will protect Idaho citizens from the intrusion of government into issues of reproductive rights.

This page also sports the charicature at the right. On a page entitled Buffet Fortune to Bear Evil Fruit, the site decrys the $30 billion Warren Buffett is giving to the Gates foundation, saying

I, for one, dread the evil fruits of this huge pot of money. Combined with Gates’ own fortune, it is impossible to foresee what kind of medical experimentation or social engineering may be brought to us and our children through this immense fund.

The Gates Foundation focuses most of its attention on educational issues and on trying to eradicate disease, particularly in poverty stricken areas of the world. The Gates Foundation site says "Guided by the belief that every life has equal value, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation works to reduce inequities and improve lives around the world." It also says "Bringing innocation in health and learning to the golbal community."
