In what seems to be a trend, another Republican has
switched to the Dem party,
criticizing Senate Republicans for what she said was their "lack of compassion for people" and for ignoring her and other political moderates.
Republican state Sen. Nancy Riley of Oklahoma is fed up with right wing extremism. She also said
Senate GOP leaders have said "we'd rather be in the majority rather than be right" and "it's all about making the other side look bad" while developing strategy.
We'd rather be in the majority than be right; exactly what we see in Idaho, as witnessed by Congressman Mike Simpson endorsing Bill Sali. Sali, who has been criticized by his own party for being ineffective and for caring only for a narrow range of extreme right wing issues. Sali, who Simpson threatened to throw out of a window. Sali, who the republican Idaho House Speaker called "an absolute idiot".
