I'll be in Idaho Falls for business on Friday. Any recommendations for a good lunch? Non chain please. I'm familiar with Smitty's and it's my fall back position, but I'm looking to find a new (to me) place.
I recommend the Snakebite downtown for gourmet type burgers. Always get the house salad instead of fries, it's pretty unique.
Also good for lunch is the Thai place downtown, if they are open. You might want to call ahead because the owner has a tendency to just shut down randomly. Can't remember the name of the place, I moved away a few months ago.
Jemc, is Grandpas a cafe in a hotel. I've eaten in that cafe, years ago, but it wasn't BBQ. If not, they've got to be close to each other. Cafe is on North side of road.

Thanks, Jason.
Did you get my email Alan?
Grandpa's (Broadway, 1 mile W of I-15) has outstanding southern BBQ.
