Slate's Bonnie Goldstein has posted the complaints the Idaho Alcohol Beverage Control has filed against a couple of Nampa bars. Salacious details here.

And it seems like just yesterday (20 years really) when the poplulace of Idaho Falls was in a serious hub-bub because the Hub bar downtown was advertising for female dancers.
Off-topic, but something that caught my eye in Slate's intro...
Nampa has a population of 78k? How did it go from 28k in 1990 to 78k now? That's 175% growth in 17 years.
And I see that Meridian has also gone up like a rocket. But meanwhile Poky and IF which used to be the 2nd and 3rd largest cities in the state have only gone up about 15-17%.
I don't live in Idaho anymore, so I've no idea what's been going on population wise. Looking at a map, I can see that Meridian is now essentially a Boise suburb. But what about Nampa?
It won't be too long before the Treasure Valley is one big city. Meridian and Kuna now share borders, and Meridian also shares borders with Eagle, Star and Nampa.
Caldwell and Nampa have little space between them, and Nampa can't grow North because of Middleton, though it can still grow south.
Yeah, lots of growth in the West side of the state. Somebody forecasted that by, 2020 or 2050 or sometime, half of the population in Idaho will live in the Treasure Valley.

Time for me to move back to Blackfoot.
