Endangered Species

It looks like wolves will be delisted soon, and hunters can shoot them by buying a tag costing less than $10.00. Although it seems harsh, it's probably a way to take some steam out of the opposition to wolves. It gives hunters another trophy animal to hunt.

I see that Bald Eagles are probably going to be delisted as well. I wonder who might volunteer to be the first person to shoot one of those animals. Will there be a season? Will a tag be required? Will someone who shoots a Bald Eagle have it stuffed and mounted?

I assume your tongue is planted firmly in cheek. Just a little bit?

In any event, baldies are covred by other laws, including Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, Lacey Act, and
Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

Yes. I was practicing irony. It's difficult to do right.
