I actually have something good to say about Million Dollar Bill Sali, because he might actually have a good idea. One of his goals, apparently, is to institute a rule in Congress similar to one in effect in Idaho; single issue bills. (Never mind the pun, since Bill is pretty much focused on the single issue of anti-abortion.)
He calls it something else, but the idea is that a bill and its amendments must be limited to a single subject matter. No attaching a bridge to nowhere amendment to a bill outlawing shooter bull operations, or whatever.
This seems like a good idea, since much mischief occurs in those amendments, some even unbeknownst to the Senator who sponsored it. However, since MDBill proposes it, I am suspicious. Perhaps some astute reader might know more whether this is a good or bad idea.

This is a standard issue for the Club For Growth, so not everything they think it bad. It's the rest of their platform that stinks.
Remember, even the foulest-tasting food is sometimes made from ingredients that are fine on their own.
