Is This Hypocrisy?

Cramer has been blogging about his trials and travails with ordering a camera from the online FotoConnection. About a year ago I tried to order from them but something was hinky and I ended up ordering from somewhere else. The lesson is, as usual, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. FC was quite a bit cheaper, which is how they attract business. You can read about the scam on Cramer's site.

The part I got a kick out of was this:
I'm planning to report this bunch of crooks to the New York State Attorney-General's Consumer Fraud division--and from the comments that I'm finding, many others have done so already. So why are they still in business? It's almost like someone isn't doing their jobs in Albany.
Cramer is a small government conservative. You know, taxes are too high, government is too big, etc. (I tend to agree with that, but I don't hate government as many small government conservatives seem to.) Anyway, when a small government conservative gets clipped then turns to government for help, and then complains that government isn't doing enough, is that hypocrisy? Or just lack of consistency?
