Salt Flats

Greetings from the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, a very windy place. This is a pic of an oddball tree alongside the road near the flats.

I guess there was a huge turnout in LA of Latinos to protest Sensenbrenners bill to criminalize certain immigration issues.

If I could remember where I read it I'd link to it ( I think Huffingtonpost.com), but someone opined that lots of latinos are moving into the southeast. These voters are going to offset lots of the GOP voters in those areas, and bills such as this appeal to the bubbas, but irriate the latinos.

Idaho Dems ought to, and I'm sure are, actively pursue the latino vote. Dan Romero on the ticket can't hurt. Dems also ought to condemn the criminalization bill.
