What's the real reason?

Note the letter from a panel of economists that says the House health care bill will save money and reduce the deficit. Some discussion of it here.

So, Mr. Minnick, really, what is the problem with it? Are you voting against it so you won't disappoint you new BFF Mike Simpson? How about if you just go ahead and switch parties so you can be even closer to him.

Walt has forever lost my vote. I will do everything in my power to bring him down.

For the love of god, will someone, anyone please run against Minnick in the Primary. I mean, no pressure, it's not like you'll have to worry about winning the general election. I'd just like to see a real democrat on the ballot. If he's on the general ballot, for the first time in my adult life, I will abstain from voting.

All the information on the "health care" bill points to rationed service, increased costs, and a general worsening of our medical sector. There are estimates that there will be 30 million uninsured as a result of the bill. The big difference will be that these will be people that *want* insurance. As opposed to many of the uninsured now that choose not to buy insurance.
Are you really in favor of sending people to jail for *not* buying insurance? What part of the constitution permits forcing people to buy anything?
