President Obama went to Iraq, and the soldiers seemed thrilled. Vice President Biden also visited troops, though I just saw a picture, and don't know where. Good on 'em.
But again, why do they always have to line up soldiers (or whatever troops are available) behind them as a nice prop for the cameras. It's dehumanizing, and I wish that tradition would go away. Truly a bipartisan bad idea.
