I just got done watching the State of the Union speech by Pres. Bush, and am now watching the post-game. I don't comment much on appearances, since my appearance ain't so hot, but jeez, John McCain's hair is whiter than his teeth.

McCain was there? I thought he was going to be in Florida. McCain is old beyond his years, a combination of the Hanoi Hilton and cancer, I think.
I didn't catch it as watching a lame duck President make policy proposals to a Congress that won't act on them didn't seem to be worth my evening.
I did not watch it either--and I am sorry to say--but I don't think I really missed anything.
Hey Alan-Since religion and politics is such a hot topic right now and with the primaries moving into Idaho, I thought you may be interested in a film that just came out titled: "Article VI: Faith. Politics. America." The film was directed by Bryan Hall and Jack Donaldson. It is an intense discussion of the role of faith in politics. The title is taken from Article Six of the United States Constitution: "no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."

If elected president he might be the first one not to go white or gray haired during his tenure, other than Reagan, since he's already there. Take a look at Billy and Georgie's before and after pics.
Reagan was the only one I remembered that didn't go gray during the job but from family experience I know Alzheimer disease lessens stress, on the afflicted on the afflicted at least.
Maybe the jet black hair, and his inability to recall facts http://www.moldea.com/reagan-gj.html were indicative that the disease was effecting him even then.

McCain was in Florida, but they got him to comment. He did look pretty old.
