Gov Risch has announced more changes in state agency leadership. As I said, I think it's presumptuous given that he has only seven months in office, and only five until his replacement is elected.
At this point I haven't heard anything about why he's making these changes, except from the Gov. It may be that's he's just trying to make a splash or that he is settling old scores. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and see if any improvements occur.
I wonder if he's talked these changes over with Butch Otter? It seems like a lot of change for what is essentially a lame duck Gov. He doesn't even have a legislative session, unless he calls a special session. I'll bet he does.
